Watching Ohio's future schedule collapse around us this week. First of all CMU is making Ohio look like New Mexico this week. Next week at Sacramento State feels like a layup. EMU is losing to Akron who we know is really bad and those are the next two games. Miami is struggling to put away UMass which was smoked by EMU. Toledo is down 13-0 to Buffalo. A nice run for Ohio in MAC play this season is starting to materialize as per fan expectations.

Toledo is notorious for the wheels coming off as the season progresses after looking like world beaters early in the season. Ohio having Toledo to finish in Peden I have circled as a possible win going into the beginning of the season as they tend to fade. A path to Detroit is possible and it may be Ohio's final trip to Detroit with the playoff expanding next year and championship games going away. A MACC appearance against Western Michigan, rematch of the 2016 MACC (10 year anniversary).

Would have loved to see Akron pull off the upset over EMU, unfortunately they head to 3-0 and could be riding high coming into Athens 4-0 of they can take care of Toledo at home.
