Hopefully the CEOs connection to the school leads to us getting the Oregon treatment with a new uniform combo every week.

While I know this was made in humor, we are firmly on the BSN bus...

Ive also been curious what the announced expanded partnership with Ohio Health netted us. No idea what its actually earning us so far but Slade seems to be busy at least.

If only they had NIL in 2006. I would have signed a deal for free food with Miller's Chicken. Lol!

A Miller's Chicken patch on the jerseys seems so cool to me.

Might want to add this to the list: https://www.ohio.edu/news/2026/10/ohio-athletics-jackie-o...

Jackie Os is retiring Ricky, renaming it Rufus, and distributing it state wide with the Bobcat logo on the cans.

Maybe Gonzalez' husband can buy a case for the coaching staff.

Would it be better or worse if you were drinking the official school licensed beer on your dates with a student?

Truly great news! Rufus beer will be a household favorite at my place. And, as a graduate of Rufus Putnam Elementary School, it has a double meaning for me.

Cool. Now our uniforms can surely be stitched together by 6 year olds in Guam.

Yes, and manufacturing there is done to avoid regulation and ignore working conditions and human rights while conglomerates can slap "made in the USA" on their garbage.

You think Adidas is paying old ladies in Portland a living wage to sew sneakers?

Nike doesnt release anything with made in the USA slapped on it outside of very limited special releases and they dont own any factories outside of some small component factories which are actually in the continental US. Odds are anything with a Nike logo on it came from Vietnam or another Asian country.

If youre that concerned about it you can shell out $200 for the New Balance made in the USA collection running shoes that get made in New England.

True. When I was running a lot, though, I found New Balance shoes to be worth the money (usually in the $125-150 range). They went the 400 miles. It's not like Nike is selling theirs for less.

Anyway, it was more of a general comment. Yeah, I don't know if Nike is much worse than Adidas. they all do their best to skirt labor and environmental laws to improve their margins.

My bad for getting us off topic.
