Hi, all Im editor of the Athens County Independent, an nonprofit digital newsroom here in Athens. I know theres a lot of interest in coverage of OU sports as well as local high school sports, and Id love to be able to provide it. However, we dont currently have the budget to support a sportswriter (or even stringers). A member of Bobcat Attack suggested that I reach out to yall to gauge interest in supporting sports coverage in the Independent, so here I am. Thanks in advance for your input!
